C'est au travers de la culture et du voyage que Chama a commencé à aiguiser son œil, à être curieuse avec ce qui l'entoure... et de fil en aiguille elle s'en sert aujourd'hui pour partager et mettre en valeur la richesse de ses découvertes.
Très sensible aux cultures étrangères, à l'autre, sa manière d'interagir avec l'humain -au cœur de son travail- passe par la photographie. C'est une source d'inspiration majeure. Sa passion pour la photographie s'intensifie quand elle fait connaissance avec l'argentique pendant ses études, un médium fascinant, qui nous apprend à écouter son image, à la construire et lui donner toute sa valeur artistique.
Chama a ce sens du portrait puissant et franc. En numérique, elle aime saisir le vif d'une situation, d'une émotion dès lors que le temps s'accélère lors de concerts, événements et en reportage. Son travail très graphique est composé d'ombres et de lumières où les textures viennent sublimer le sujet. Noir et blanc ou couleur ? En 2016, elle part au Burkina Faso où elle saisira les clichés de sa première grande exposition : MASA. Polyvalente, Chama s'accomplit également dans la réalisation et le tournage de vidéos qui lui permettent de présenter son univers sensible en mouvement.
